HIRING!!!!!! 2ND SHIFT - MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER



• Join a dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of medical devices.
• This position requires flexibility with shift hours and the willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
• Please note that this role is a contract-to-hire position, and the transition to a permanent role may take longer than initially projected.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor.
• Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with microscope use.
• Small part assembly skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with microscope 90% of the shift.
• Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical device assembly is preferred.
• Cleanroom experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring tools, calipers, and micrometers.

Work Environment

• Work in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time, closely collaborating with your team at workstations.
• The 2nd shift starts at either 3:30 PM or 3:45 PM.
• Be prepared to engage in physical tasks involving mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
