Student worker assists the staff and leadership team with a variety of tasks
and projects that supports the mission of the Morehouse College Business and Economics Division.
Required Qualifications
High school graduate.
Currently enrolled at Morehouse College or other AUCC campus.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education/Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 12 months of work experience.
Some exposure working in an office and interacting with senior leaders.
Some experience presenting information to others.
At least 6 months working on team projects.
Some level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Eventbrite, CRM .
Proficiency in following directions and collaborating with others to complete tasks.
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with proven multi-tasking abilities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Physical Demands
Assist the Dean of the Business and Economics Division with day-to-day tasks
Coordinate executive communication including taking calls, responding to emails, and
interfacing with alumni.
Prepare internal and external documents for Executive Leadership Team and Board members as requested.
Schedule meetings and appointments, and manage itineraries.
Assist with arranging events such as meetings, seminars, and board meetings.
Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff, executive leadership, and students.
Develop positive relationships with partners, vendors and others that support the mission and goals of the organization.
Supervise with the coordination of engagement with student volunteers.
