Citiguard is currently hiring an Account Manager in the Sacramento area with experience in security services, problem resolution, service enhancement and expansion, new business development, operational effectiveness, preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, supervision and training. This position is ideal for an experienced manager that can multi-task with ease and enjoy working in a customer service focused environment.

Essential Functions:
· Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned account; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
· Meets regularly with client representatives for status updates and addresses any actual or potential problems. Addresses client concerns promptly and professionally.
· Provides support during client start-up; supports security planning, assessments and surveys; reviews and updates post orders.
· Understand client needs and customize existing business programs to meet their needs.
· Responsible for developing new strategies to improve client satisfaction and build positive and productive relationships with clients for business growth.
· Within scope of client contract and assigned duties, authorizes appropriate expenditures including. equipment, supplies, and vehicles; acts to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and administers driver training.
· Ensures that there is an adequate inventory of uniforms, radios, and other supplies and equipment; maintains and submits payroll records and other associate and business information.
· Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules for account, in collaboration with line management as necessary. Ensures that scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
· Reviews Security Officer site reports to verify post orders and client directives have been satisfactorily followed. Inspections of all posts as a part the evaluation of security staff work environment.
· Coordinates with sales staff business development priorities and key sales actions; assists clients in understanding the full range of company products and services; negotiates and facilitates the negotiation of client contracts.
· Oversees, coordinates with line management and HR, and participates in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high caliber staff. Ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect.
. Coordinates with scheduling, recruiting and other departments to guarantee appropriate coverage of guards for all new and existing accounts.
· Plans, assigns, and directs work, mentoring employees and issuing disciplinary actions, as necessary.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge about company products and services.
· Assists in development and administration of budget in relation to assigned account.
· Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
· Ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
· Provides input to company initiatives; promptly assists in the resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues.
· Performs additional functions, duties, and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent: Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Work Experience:
· Two years of prior experience in the security industry
· Two years leadership and supervisory experience
· Five years relevant experience: Preferred
Requirements:
. Minimum scheduling experience of 30+ employees.
. Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
. Knowledge of managerial practices and procedures.
. Must have all required certifications for the role the employee currently holds.
. Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
. Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
. Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
. Ability to take initiative and achieve results.
. Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
. Actively demonstrate extraordinary customer service and customer engagement.
· Taking a vested interest in the growth of the company.
. Must have strong leadership, problem solving, and planning skills.
. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
. Experience working under pressure and multitasking.
. Service-oriented and self-motivated with a high level of professionalism.
· Must be able to work well with co-workers and other departments.
. May be required to work overtime without advance notice.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to perform the following:
o Sit – frequently, up to 8 hours per day.
o Walk – infrequently, up to 1 hour per day.
o Stand – frequently, up to 2 hours per day.
· Communicate verbally to staff, clients and coworkers in transmitting and gathering information’
· Hear information transmitted verbally by phone or radio.
· Adequate vision required to be able to read information from printed sources and computer screens, as well as color vision and fields of vision to perform job functions. In addition, with the ability to see to drive and read street, vehicle and building marking.
Must be able to tolerate work in an outdoor environment (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
