Job Title: New Product Introduction Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the New Product Introduction (NPI) area, where you will work on innovative products in their initial production stages. You will assemble products like diagnostic machines, blood analyzers, and heart monitors, using detailed work instructions on computers and Travelers. This role involves mechanical and electronic assembly, utilizing hand tools, and ensuring precise documentation.

Pay:

$21/hr

Shift:

7:00am-3:30pm

Overtime:

Required (may start as early as 5:00 AM and include some Saturdays)

Responsibilities

• Assemble products following work instructions and Travelers.
• Perform mechanical and electronic assembly with attention to detail.
• Utilize hand tools and torque wrenches effectively.
• Complete in-process documentation accurately.
• Interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work with computers for data entry and digital work instructions.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in medical assembly.
• Proficiency with hand tools, especially torque wrenches.
• Experience with medical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• At least 1 year of experience working with computers for data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination and sharpness, even without formal experience.
• Experience with power tools is a plus.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean, comfortable, and well-lit, though not a clean room, it is regulated for medical instrument assembly. The role requires availability for potential overtime, starting as early as 5am, and occasional weekend work, especially in the third and fourth quarters. Regular hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, and flexibility is appreciated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
