 Private Chef Position – Beverly Hills. Greater Los Angeles Locals Only

IMMEDIATE START – Chef must be available for immediate tastings and on-site service at the client's residence.

Elite Private Chefs is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and discreet Private Chef to serve an elite individual in their Beverly Hills Residence. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of the principle's culinary needs in an exclusive, high-end setting. As the Private Chef, you will be expected to create exceptional, personalized meals that cater to the client's tastes, dietary preferences, and health needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Client: Cooking for 1 principal and providing staff meals

• Compensation: $140,000/year (negotiable) + full benefits

• Schedule: Full-time (10–11 months per year)

• Days Off: Mondays & Tuesdays

• Hours:

  • Wednesday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM

  • Weekends: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

  • Client is big on punctuality and has little tolerance for tardiness because of traffic or other avoidable matters

• Meals: Basic breakfast, followed by lunch and dinner daily, Chef must cater exactly to the client's specific well document preferences, with some room for experiments in addendum to what is being served.

• Entertaining: Rare; catering typically used. Chef may assist bar staff with occasional event setup and on occasions cook pool/party food for up to 10 guests

• Environment:

  • Quiet, low-communication household — client mostly texts. Chef must be okay with limited daily communication

  • Must be comfortable working independently, without daily feedback or supervision

  • Home is calm and private and very open; professionalism and discretion are essential

• Expectations:

  • Be a self-starter — begin breakfast/lunch prep daily without instruction

  • Client prefers consistent, familiar meals

  • Chef must be low-ego, reliable, and comfortable with downtime in a quiet setting

  • Laid-back personality with a serious, committed approach to the job

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a private chef with references

• Impeccable cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail

• Flexible and proactive, able to adapt to changing household schedules and needs

• Must demonstrate a high level of discretion and commitment to client privacy

• Maintain a spotless, well-organized kitchen and uphold top-tier food safety and hygiene standards

• Source fresh, seasonal, and premium ingredients; manage inventory and supplier relationships

• Accommodate dietary restrictions and wellness-focused meal planning (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, keto)

• Occasionally assist with private events, dinner parties, or special gatherings

Preferred Skills:

• Meal planning and experience with special diets

• Sophisticated plating and presentation techniques

• Exposure to or interest in international cuisines and cultural dining preferences
