As we expand our services to include sports analytics, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in both sports and media domains to join our dynamic team. Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a deep understanding of sports and media industries to support our clients in optimizing their operations, enhancing fan engagement, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business success in the sports and media sectors.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of sports and media data sets, including audience demographics, viewership trends, sponsorship metrics, and social media engagement.
  2. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sponsorship deals, and content strategies in driving fan engagement and brand awareness.
  3. Collaborate with sports and media organizations to identify strategic opportunities for revenue growth, audience expansion, and content monetization.
  4. Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and customer segmentation, to identify actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Design and deliver customized reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sports and media analytics to continuously enhance methodologies and approaches.
  7. Support the development of data-driven solutions and tools to optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation in the sports and media sectors.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Media Studies, Statistics, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  2. 1+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or consulting roles within the sports and media industries.
  3. Deep domain knowledge of sports and media ecosystems, including understanding of audience behavior, content consumption trends, and revenue models.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or SAS, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  7. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
