Position: Buyer

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000

Location: Huntsville, Arkansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Buyer to join their team!

Join a pioneering company with a rich history in aerospace and defense. As a Buyer, you will be a key player in the supply chain management team, focusing on managing and leading suppliers for electro-mechanical systems. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to mission-critical defense projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage supplier performance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost reduction.
• Negotiate cost, delivery schedules, and inventory management with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project expectations.
• Identify and develop new sources of supply for components.
• Conduct quarterly scorecard reviews for supplier performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of supplier interactions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or buying within electronics, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Strong supply chain and supplier management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in managing high mix and low volume purchasing.
• Familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Knowledge of electronic and structural systems.
