RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, implement, and maintain database systems for optimal performance and data integrity. Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues. Perform backups and implement disaster recovery to ensure data availability. Develop and implement security measures for data protection and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Collaborate with developers and system administrators for seamless system integration. Optimize database structures, queries, and indexes to boost performance. Provide technical support and guidance for data-related inquiries. Conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability. Stay current with database technologies, recommending improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator . Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and tools. Proficiency in database design, normalization, and performance tuning . Experience with database security and data privacy regulations . Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures . Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills .
