You will be responsible for the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Install, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 standards.

2. Test and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure they are in good working order and compliant with safety regulations.

3. Perform routine maintenance on fire alarm systems, including testing, cleaning, and repairing components as needed.

4. Work closely with construction teams to integrate fire alarm systems into building designs.

5. Provide technical support and training to other team members on fire alarm systems.

6. Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

7. Keep up-to-date with the latest fire alarm technologies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Fire Alarm Technician position should possess the following qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or a similar role in the construction industry.

2. Extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems, including Silent Knight, Autocall, and Firelite.

3. Proficiency in NFPA 72 and other relevant safety regulations.

4. Strong skills in low voltage electrical wiring.

5. Experience with security and fire alarms installation, programming, and troubleshooting.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

8. A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.

9. Relevant certification or licensure may be required.
