Base pay range $200.00/yr - $250.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Overview: We are representing a prestigious private equity firm with a strong track record in real estate and alternative investments, seeking to hire a Head of Financial Reporting to oversee key accounting functions across the management company, partnership accounting, and fund coordination. Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), this high-impact role provides strategic exposure at the intersection of investments, operations, and financial reporting. The firm is entering a period of expansion, presenting significant growth opportunities for leadership within the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private equity accounting, experience in high-growth environments, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business lines. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role at a leading investment firm. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management and external stakeholders. Oversee the consolidation of financial data from various departments and subsidiaries. Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and ensure compliance with requirements. Work with VP of GP reporting in structuring deliverables and managing staff – Accounting, Tax, Audit. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and consultants. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience with operation consolidation reporting mechanics involving multiple entities. Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Experience in Real Estate Asset Management is preferred.
