We seek an experienced leader with deep expertise in music strategy and management, passionate about music, audience development, and innovation. This role oversees a team of curators across Country & Christian genres. What You'll Do Develop and lead editorial strategy for the Nashville music team. Manage a team of editors. Curate playlists and assist the team in their curation efforts. Lead cross-functional projects from an editorial perspective. Identify music trends through listening and analysis. Utilize cultural expertise to develop new programming initiatives. Analyze data to assess the team's impact. Maintain a strong, unbiased editorial voice to enhance user experience. Who You Are 10+ years experience in music programming/curation or an audience-focused role. Innovative problem solver with a future-oriented mindset. Experience managing teams of curators and creatives. Skilled in creating a positive team culture. Proven ability to craft and develop editorial strategies. Knowledge of current and historical music trends in Country & Christian genres. Excellent judgment of appropriate music for various situations. Highly organized with strong project management skills. Effective communicator and team player, adept at cross-functional collaboration. Proficient in interpreting and responding to analytics. Deep understanding of Spotify as a user and fan. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable with change. Willing to travel as needed. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Where You'll Be This role is based in Nashville. Flexible work environment with some in-person meetings; expected to work from home with 2-3 days in the office per week. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $120,105 - $171,578 plus equity. Benefits include health insurance, parental leave, 401(k), paid time off, and holidays.
