Histotechnologist Job at Kelly Services, Union City, CA ODA1NE9ScHVMUmRkZC9kUk1zV1ViaGRzaVE9PQ== Kelly Services Union City, CA Job Description **Histotechnologist**Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Histotechnologist for a **Direct Hire** position at **premier biotech company in Union City, CA.** If you're passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.**Pay Rate:**$90k-120k**Schedule:**Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm**Responsibilities:**+ Prepare and process biological tissue samples for microscopic examination.+ Embed, section, and stain tissues using various histological techniques.+ Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.+ Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure quality control in specimen preparation.+ Assist in maintaining laboratory records and documentation.+ Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results.+ Ability to process more than 20 blocks with 1 sections per hour.+ Assist with other assigned duties as needed.**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's or Associates in Biology or related field, HTL/HT Certification **_preferred._**+ 3+ years of professional histology experience.+ Proficient in the operation of a microtome to section formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue blocks.+ Experience in performing manual hematoxylin/eosin staining of tissue slides.+ Knowledge of tissue grossing, handling, histo-staining protocol, and trouble shooting.+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.**What happens next:**Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
