Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer with specialized experience in Intelligent Automation and UiPath to join our intelligent automation team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, reliability, and accountability of our RPA solutions. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to define testing standards, build automated test cases, and integrate quality assurance into our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Testing Strategy & Governance

• Define what “good testing” looks like for automation (unit, edge, negative, boundary).
• Establish and enforce the Definition of Done for testing across automation projects.
• Embed test coverage requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Test Design & Development

• Design and document test cases using boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and edge case techniques.
• Prepare test data scenarios that reflect real-world business processes.
• Maintain unit test scripts and workflow tests in UiPath Test Suite.

Automation & CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated test cases into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like UiPath Orchestrator and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to configure test triggers (e.g., nightly runs, on-demand, post-check-in) to support continuous validation.
• Ensure traceability by linking test cases to user stories and requirements in ALM tools.

Validation & Quality Assurance

• Review test cases and automation scripts for completeness, logic, and alignment with business goals.
• Conduct internal UAT in collaboration with stakeholders to validate business rules, data accuracy, and SLA compliance.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Lead peer review sessions (“test jams”) to promote knowledge sharing and early feedback.
• Analyze root causes of test failures and contribute lessons learned to retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing practices and contribute to team-wide quality initiatives.

Reporting & Metrics

• Generate and maintain dashboards and reports, including:
• Daily Execution Reports (Pass/Fail)
• Defect Density Reports
• Test Coverage Reports
• Utilize tools such as UiPath Test Manager, Orchestrator logs, and automation dashboards for reporting and insights.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in QA or test automation, with at least 1 year focused on UiPath Test Suite.
• Strong understanding of RPA testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with ALM tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Test Manager).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Preferred:

• UiPath Certified RPA Associate or Testing Engineer.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

Experience in business process automation and enterprise RPA deployments
