RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Traveling Licensed Journeyman Electrician starting ASAP.
Summary: 60+ hours per week (10 hour nights / 6 nights per week) working in retail bog-box stores
Daily Per Diem for travel expenses available 7 days per week
Weekly pay sent electronically to your bank account or to company provided pay card


Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician (100% Nationwide Travel)

Job Description: Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, devices, and lighting systems within a commercial environment (big-box retail outlets).

• Installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems components including wiring, appliances (outlets and switches), lighting fixtures, breakers, etc.
• Use of industry standard tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to detect issues and facilitate solutions.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on electrical systems and warn management about potential hazards.
• Follow all applicable electrical codes, blueprints, and standards for ultimate efficiency and safety.
• Document all your actions, including testing results and steps taken to resolve issues
• Prior experience installing UPS systems. No prior UPS configuration experience necessary.
• Experience leading a team is a definite plus.

Required Tools: Industry standard hand tools


Requirements:

• MUST be comfortable being away from home for 4-6 months at a time.
• MUST have a clean valid drivers license - may be issued a company van with tools.
• MUST have an active Journeyman's License and be able to produce it for consideration.
• MUST be dependable and reliable.
• MUST be financially able to get to corporate location on the first day for safety orientation and deployment details.
