Position: Lighting Designer / Applications Designer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lighting Designer / Applications Designer I to support a wide range of projects across commercial, healthcare, educational, hospitality, mixed-use, and residential sectors. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, contractors, and distributors to create effective lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lighting calculations using Visual 3D and/or AGI32

• Design and recommend lighting layouts based on project criteria

• Provide budget pricing for projects

• Deliver technical support via phone, email, and in-person

• Select and recommend lighting fixtures from multiple manufacturers

• Attend product trainings and participate in professional development

• Support sales functions during business hours and occasionally after hours

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field

• Experience in lighting design or lighting project management

• Knowledge of architectural and engineering design processes

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign , and lighting software ( AGI32 or Visual Professional )

• Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and preferably Microsoft Teams
