About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director with a strong background in hotel management to lead the reimagination of two lifestyle hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving hotel profitability through effective revenue generation, cost control, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role involves daily oversight of operating departments, conducting staff meetings and training sessions, and maintaining the integrity of the hotel. The Managing Director will also play a key role in the hotel's sales efforts, including client interactions and will be expected to uphold the company's standards in all aspects of hotel operations. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have at least 6 years' of progressive experience in the hotel industry, with a preference for those with a background in lifestyle hotels. The role requires a hands-on approach, including regular inspections of the property, and a commitment to employee development and training. The ideal candidate will have a warm and friendly demeanor, be an effective communicator, and be adept at problem-solving. Responsibilities also include financial forecasting, budget management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Managing Director will be expected to lead by example, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
