Manufacturing Engineer

Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, we are the 1st ever to come up with an all-electric RV! We have been in business for just over 4 years and are continuing to grow and expand our resources, products and team!

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality in production operations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production flow and minimize costs.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and process audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to analyze production data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee CNC machining operations and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Manage projects related to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices and new technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials science and mechanical engineering principles to support manufacturing innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and techniques.
• Experience with CNC machining and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
