Job Title: MIG Welder / Fabricator

We're currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing fabrication team. This will be an AES step 5 position.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator with a strong background in custom fabrication. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate precision and attention to detail in every weld.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches
• Execute custom fabrication jobs from start to finish
• Use hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to cut, form, and finish components
• Ensure high-quality welds that meet project specifications and industry standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience (required)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in custom metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Familiarity with shop safety standards and best practices
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TIG welding (a plus)
• Forklift operation experience or certification
