Job Description

Our client, a dynamic player in the logistics industry, is seeking an Order Picker to join their team. As an Order Picker, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the fulfillment team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Order Picker

Location: Opa Locka, FL

Pay Range: $15.00/hr

Shift: M-F, 10am-6:30pm

What's the Job?

• Order Fulfillment: Locate, retrieve, and prepare paper products and envelopes for shipment based on customer orders.
• Accuracy Verification: Ensure that the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
• Packing and Labeling: Pack and label orders according to established procedures and shipping standards.
• Staging: Organize and stage orders for loading or delivery.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).

What's Needed?

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs comfortably.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in picking and packing is essential.
• Basic Skills: Ability to read and follow instructions and basic math skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Previous warehouse experience may be preferred, but not always required.
