Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Location: Washington

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Duration: 6–9 months

Schedule: Two weeks per month, specific dates to be determined

Coverage needed: November 17-30; anticipate commitment to December dates soon as well.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in a Level II Trauma Center in Washington state. This position requires a fellowship-trained surgeon with a strong background in trauma and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The role involves a split schedule of 24/7 ER call coverage and dedicated outpatient clinic time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in a Level II Trauma setting.
• Cover 24/7 ER call for two weeks per month.
• Work 3.5 days per week in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, with the exception of complex pelvic issues.
• Collaborate with dedicated support staff, including Physician Assistants and MAs.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Active Washington state medical license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
