The Hospice & Palliative Care Department at MelroseWakefield Hospital is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team caring for Palliative Care patients in Melrose, MA. We elevate the value of health care for patients - at the intersection of quality, cost, and service - by delivering robust support for our physicians.How you'll transform patient care:About the role: You'll be a valuable member of the care team alongside physician and Nurse Practitioner colleagues, working to complete inpatient palliative care consults and supporting the outpatient palliative care program, dependent upon need.You'll grow as a clinician as you learn from new colleagues.You'll join and contribute to a work environment that is flexible and in-tune with the desires of a modern workforce that values work/life balance.You'll embrace one of our most fundamental values of active engagement within our communities, bringing the strength of academic and community care.You'll join an organization built on collaborative practices and community.Who you are:Ability to work 40 hours with no weekend or major holiday commitmentsGraduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program.Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Clinical experience in Palliative Care preferred.Passionate about caring for a diverse population of Palliative Care
