Job Description:

Trestle Companies is seeking an Construction Project Manager to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role involves a strong emphasis on  client representation, team selection, cost review and tracking, design input, and leadership . The ideal candidate will work closely with senior management, clients, contractors, and design professionals to ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are accurately translated into project execution.
  • Assist in the selection and management of project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project budgets, track costs, and analyze financial data to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Provide input on project design and construction methods to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Assist in developing project schedules and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project success.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, change orders, and schedules.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, cost management, and scheduling techniques.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with clients and project stakeholders professionally.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve project challenges efficiently.
