Position Summary:

** We are opening a new store location in Great Barrington, Massachusetts **

As Sales Leader you are responsible for maintaining customer service standards and resolving operational issues when the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader are unavailable. This role is full-time working 30- 40 hrs./wk.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish excellent customer service standards and lead by example.
Collaborate with and lead sales team in priority setting, daily tasks and delegation of responsibilities.
Identify and communicate team and store needs to leader team.
Partner and support store leader team in daily store operations as necessary.
Use creative approaches to engage the customer with the product; illustrate how to wear the clothing and explore different options.
Possess strong understanding and ability to contribute and assist in back of house functions.
Participate in the training and mentoring of new and current team members with an emphasis on nurturing talent and growth.
Develop creative solutions for situations that arise when store leaders are not present.
Maintain high standards of sales floor and merchandise.
Assist Store Leader with store merchandising and visual presentation with willingness to experiment and be open to exploring all possibilities.
Ensure and contribute to a safe and clean store environment.

Required Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be entrepreneurial, inventive, creative and flexible.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Passionate about nurturing a positive, supportive and collaborative work environment.
Dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience, promoting quality service among your team through training and acting as a positive role model.
Possess openness to experience our Brand and product, stylishly wardrobing self and customers.
Strong problem solving skills with ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.
Maintain high level of initiative, motivation, and self-direction.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at floor level and/or team lift when necessary.
Ability to climb ladders, twist, bend and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and hooks.
Previous retail sales or apparel experience required.

The starting pay for this role is $16.50/hr.+ dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.
