Software Engineer 4 (Contract)

Location: Hybrid 3 days a week onsite in San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 month

Team: Personalization Services Segmentation

What you need to succeed:

• Thorough understanding of test methodology, test life cycle, bug life cycle.
• Production/test Experience in Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage.
• Experience with any Animation software including Flash/Animate authoring tool.
• ACE certification advantage.
• Experience with any scripting language such as HTML, JavaScript, perl, python, shell, etc
• Should have ability to Write and maintain test specs and scripts
• Ability to interpret project specifications
• Works closely with development
• Good time management skills
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to use testing tools for product area
• Advanced knowledge of one core operation system
• Ability to take on new tasks
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation
• Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on Java, ActionScript, JavaScript, Python
• Passion for web technologies, sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities
• Familiar with automated testing tools
• Ability to easily learn new technologies
• Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
• Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills, experience with troubleshooting.
• Relevant experience in working with web technologies
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Experience in developing test automation frameworks and systems
• Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment
• Working with remote teams

Education & Experience:

• BE or Diploma in Animation.

Compensation:

• Up to $87.12 per hour.
