Position Summary:
This position, together with other team members, is responsible for performing tax accounting, tax reporting, and tax compliance for the NBA, WNBA, and G League.  This position will also participate in various tax projects that support existing business operations and new business initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepare income tax provision calculations
• Prepare taxable income projections used for cash tax estimated payments
• Gather and organize information for US partnership and corporate income tax compliance workpapers
• Prepare and maintain relevant income tax workpaper documentation, including position memos 
• Maintain intercompany transaction workpapers and legal entity structure charts
• Assist in the preparation of indirect tax returns globally, including accrual account reconciliations
• Coordinate timely income and indirect tax payments on and monthly and quarterly basis
• Coordinate tax registrations, annual state filings, and fee remittances for relevant group legal entities
• Support income and indirect tax audits as needed
• Participate in ad hoc tax projects and tax technical research
• Contribute towards Tax Dept. goals and finance OKRs annually

Required Education/Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Master's degree is a plus
• Intention to pursue and obtain a CPA license
• 2 -3 years of relevant working experience in public accounting or private industry

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient using MS Office 
• Exposure to Alteryx or SAP a plus

Salary Range:$105,000 - $120,000
