Interventional Radiology Technician

Shift Details

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab setting, along with moderate sedation experience.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)


• Required: Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)


• Preferred: Vascular OR experience


• Preferred: Cath Lab experience


• Certifications: Current BLS certification

General Information

Number of Beds: 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)

Number of Staff: 15 techs currently plus manager and Data/Quality Analyst; nursing support for each room as well.

• Day Shift: 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room


• Night Shift: 1 tech and 1 RN onsite

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Type of Equipment: Single plane: GE; Biplane: Philips; Invasive CT scanner

EMR: Cerner (Radnet)

Typical Procedures

• Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams)


• Neph tubes


• Arteriograms/embolizations


• Y-90


• G tubes


• TIPS


• Inari cases


• Cerebral arteriograms


• Coilings


• Pipelines


• Mechanical thrombectomies


• Vertebroplasties
