Location: Camp Lucy, Dripping Springs, TX Company: Whim Hospitality

We are looking for a talented and passionate Account Manager to join our Sales and Events team. This is your opportunity to bring unforgettable weddings and events to life, all while building a meaningful career in hospitality and event planning.

Position Summary

The Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for clients hosting weddings and events at Camp Lucy. You'll guide them from their initial planning stages all the way through execution, managing everything from tastings and menus to guest accommodations and rental selections. This is a client-facing role that combines relationship management, creativity, organization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all aspects of booked weddings and events at Camp Lucy.
  • Lead client tastings and coordinate all in-person meetings.
  • Manage rental consultations through Whim Rentals for both clients and planners.
  • Conduct and lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings.
  • Create and manage detailed BEOs and floor plan diagrams using designated software.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to craft profitable and personalized menus.
  • Communicate all event arrangements to internal departments to ensure flawless execution.
  • Coordinate additional event services such as A/V, dcor, and entertainment.
  • Identify upselling opportunities to maximize catering and rental revenues.
  • Maintain client contracts and ensure high-quality service to encourage repeat business.
  • Participate in team trainings, pre-event meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of event planning, coordination, or account management experience (hospitality industry preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skillsoutgoing, warm, and confident in client interactions.
  • Skilled at managing details while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Ability to create and communicate a cohesive vision for each event.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn event software and tools.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and solution oriented.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
  • Must be able to commute to Dripping Springs, TX.
