About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who is a passionate and visionary leader, dedicated to the belief that people are the most important asset of an organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, non-profit leadership, and solving complex issues related to food insecurity, workforce development, and social service access, particularly in underserved areas. This role involves leading a staff of 25, including 5 direct reports, and overseeing the execution of programs that not only address immediate needs but also foster self-reliance, economic growth, and social well-being. The CEO will be expected to lead with a focus on dignity, inclusivity, and community investment, and to ensure that the organization's mission is at the forefront of all activities. Key responsibilities for the Chief Executive Officer include staff development and management, fundraising, financial management, and fostering a strong partnership with the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' of executive-level non-profit management experience, a proven track record in strategic planning and execution, and a history of inspiring and motivating various stakeholders. They should be adept at problem-solving, have a meticulous approach to decision-making, and possess the financial acumen necessary to manage a budget of at least $5M. The role requires a leader who can create a culture of open communication, prioritize professional development, and ensure the organization's programs are effective and impactful.
