As an Event Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the behind-the-scenes details that ensure smooth and successful destination weddings and events. Your role will include coordinating transportation, accommodations, vendor arrangements, and all logistical aspects of the event, ensuring that every detail is handled efficiently and flawlessly. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site coordination for guests and vendors Manage event timelines, ensuring all logistical details are executed according to the schedule Work closely with clients, vendors, and the event planning team to ensure all logistics align with the event's vision Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all event materials and supplies, including décor, gifts, and equipment Handle unexpected challenges during the event, problem-solving quickly to maintain smooth operations Communicate with local vendors and service providers to secure all necessary resources, such as catering, equipment rentals, and floral arrangements Provide on-site support, overseeing event setup, guest arrivals, and breakdown after the event Maintain detailed records of logistics, including budgets, contracts, and vendor communications Ensure that all guests have the necessary information and resources for a comfortable and enjoyable event experience Qualifications: Proven experience in event logistics, planning, or coordination, preferably in weddings or hospitality Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and guests Ability to think on your feet and address last-minute changes or challenges effectively Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing high-pressure situations Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations is a plus Preferred Skills: Familiarity with destination wedding locations and event-specific logistics Experience using event management software or tools to track details and timelines Knowledge of local venues and suppliers in various wedding destinations Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Internet Publishing #J-18808-Ljbffr
