At Vera Whole Health, our Clinic Manager has accountability of the operational and administrative functions core to the success of the clinics, and partners with the Lead Provider who oversees the clinical outcomes within their clinic. These dyad relationships are responsible to ensure exceptional delivery of patient care. You are the accountable person to assure the clinic teams receive the resources and training essential to patient care as well as the champion of quality improvement and collaboration in our team-based clinical model. As a Practice Manager at Vera Whole Health, you provide leadership to the clinical care team, removing roadblocks and empowering them to find solutions that give your patient population the highest level of service. Accountable for overall care center performance, you will work closely with the Lead Provider and your regional leadership team to ensure you are meeting (and exceeding) customer expectations. You are an excellent listener, which contributes to your ability to build and manage teams. You are also able to navigate change and work through ambiguity, with a desire to learn new things. Essential Functions include upholding the mission, vision, and values of Vera Whole Health; accounting for overall care center performance including patient engagement, workflow, patient satisfaction and quality outcomes; managing and developing the care center team including hiring, onboarding, and training; partnering with care teams to meet client needs and expectations; ensuring optimal patient experience and team member engagement; ensuring safety and compliance with policies and regulations; managing budget development and adherence; and managing projects to support organizational strategic initiatives. Travel up to 50% of the time based on care center location. Education & Experience required include a Bachelor’s degree with coursework in administration or equivalent 5 years’ work experience as an operations manager in a similar environment, minimum 2+ years of managerial experience in a health care center, preferred experience in developing and evaluating operating and fiscal plans, clinical experience preferred, experience with EMR systems (NextGen preferred), coding and documentation including Medicare Advantage and HCC, and experience with Google Workspace.
