Join our team:

As the successful Production Control Clerk you will be working closely with the Production Control Supervisor (20+ years of experience) and the rest of the production team. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy within established standards; meeting or exceeding customer expectations; analyze and reconcile all variances reported from daily cycle count process in a timely manner; identify any process trends that negatively impact inventory accuracy and communicate accordingly so proper action can be taken. Expedite the flow of materials within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

The job details:

• Process Germination reports, calculate stand counts and enter germ counts and all notes
• Complete Pull Sheets
• Create and commit Pack Lists for deliveries
• Prepare crop records and labels for greenhouses
• Enter Requisitions for Purchase Order request as needed
• Receive Seed and issue seed into the system
• Verify Purchase Order received and forward to Purchasing department
• Complete Dump Order in the system
• Act as back up to Office Manager when needed to enter labor hours into payroll system and prepare weekly payroll reports
• Respond to the inquiries of drivers, vendors, workers, managers, and other staff.
• Perform a variety of clerical functions, answer phones, filing and generating reports upon request.
