Travel and Logistics Coordinator
Location: Onsite - VMFG Warehouse, Hapeville, GA

Please note this is a part-time position. This person should expect a 25-30 hour work week (8am-1pm on an average day).

Bluebird is a rapidly growing startup specializing in physical security solutions. We are committed to providing seamless, high-quality installations for customers and fellow integrators. As we scale, we are looking for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to ensure our installation teams are supported with equipment logistics, and site readiness.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating multi-site installations, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are prepped and delivered efficiently. This individual will also be responsible for managing inbound materials, organizing the demo space, and handle packaging/shipping for company equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics for complex multi-site installations, ensuring teams and equipment are properly scheduled and dispatched.
• Packaging and shipping of equipment
• Oversee the pre-staging of equipment and ensure proper boxing and freight coordination for site deliveries.
• Organize and maintain the demo space for customer and partner visits.
• Serve as the primary recipient for inbound materials, ensuring proper storage and inventory tracking.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, installers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of logistics
• Assist in process improvement initiatives related to logistics, storage, and staging efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, or operations management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with freight and shipping coordination is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and logistics software.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or field operations setting is preferred.
